Emmetts Truck Services are 100% locally owned and have operated for over 36 years and employ 26 staff at the Palmerston North facility

1987  Emmetts Truck Services was established with the original premises in Wanganui servicing heavy diesel road transport vehicles

1997    An additional facility was opened in Palmerston North

2001  Emmetts Truck Services moved to their existing site on 799 Tremaine Ave, Palmerston North where we continue to operate today

2022 The Wanganui branch was sold in 2022

2023 The team at Emmetts Truck Services consists of 15 diesel technicians, along with technical, parts and administration support. Our workshop provides  modern equipment and facilities to maintain a wide variety of heavy vehicles including drive-through pits, brake testing machines and truck hoists, and  a vehicle COF inspection bay

Good environmental practices are carried out such as waste oil, oil filters, cardboard and batteries are collected and recycled. Solar energy is produced from the 134 solar panels mounted on the roof.
