Wanted: QUALIFIED HEAVY DIESEL TECHNICIAN for our busy, modern Palmerston North workshop.  Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

Requirements:

• Must have experience within the last 3 years working on heavy trucks & trailers
• Experience required for all aspects of service and repairs
• Expectation of skills necessary to diagnose & repair engines, gearboxes, diffs, all truck electronic controls, as well as all brakes, suspension, steering & air systems
• Can work unsupervised
• Must be available to work on a 24 hour on-call roster, and rostered weekends
• Have knowledge of COF requirements in NZ
• Have Class 1 licence and it is desirable to have classes 2, 3, 4, & 5
• Must be enthusiastic, have a passion for their work & be flexible to service as our customers and industry requires
